A little bit about New Zealand Fine Touring

The New Zealand Fine Touring Group was born in 2004, like many Kiwi businesses, on a kitchen table. With nothing more than an idea and a commitment to uncompromising service, the first customers were shown around New Zealand. The vision for the business was simple - make sure that every visitor has the best possible experience - how we got there, we believe, makes the difference. Each and every customer we have had (including the ones that didn't end up booking with us) taught us something. We listened and formed the business around their expectations.

In the last few years, the team grew from just a few to nearly 30 people based in our Wanaka offices. Despite this growth, we are still heavily focussed on our founding principles of the business. An uncompromising determination to deliver the very best experience to our guests. Our team strives to deliver this at every interaction, from the very first email or phone call to the last farewell. We firmly believe that nothing can replace honest, old fashioned, person to person service. While technology has made this easier, our fundamental belief will never change.

We believe that our values continue to set us apart and we live by them, every day.

We live in and promote one of the most extraordinary countries in the world. We are often reminded of how truly fortunate we are to live here. That alone continues to motivate us to deliver the best possible experience to our customers.

The year 2020 - covid 19

As for most people around the world the events of 2020 have had an impact on us, although we acknowledge that New Zealand has faired much better than many other countries.
New Zealand heavily relies on tourism and the revenue it generates, with borders closed the inevitable outcome was that we had to scale back our team. Our business was all about people. Technology and websites were never (and we believe never will be) a match for genuine person to person interaction.
The remaining team are as dedicated as ever to delivering great service as we look after our existing customers and maintain the business ready for the borders to reopen.
